2. The Call of the Church to care for Elders. (vv. 17b-18)
   a. Appreciate and respect your Elders. (vv. 17a, 1 Thes. 5:12-13)
   b. Honor your Elders. (vv. 17b -18, 1 Cor. 9:7-14)

3. The Call of the Church to protect the office of Elder. (vv. 19-22)
   a. Protecting the Elders from false accusations. (v. 19)
   b. Rebuking the Elders who are guilty of sin. (vv. 20-21)
   c. Being cautious when selecting elders. (v. 22)
