Pastor Kenny Kauffman
Kenny has been a Pastor/Elder at Redeemed South Bay since its inception in December of 2013. He served as an associate pastor overseeing youth ministry at Hope Chapel for 3 years, before starting Redeemed South Bay with fellow church planters. Kenny attended Vanguard University of Southern California where he studied Religion with an Emphasis in Ministry and Leadership. He is one of the teaching pastors and is passionate about biblical exposition, church history, and discipleship.
Kenny married his beautiful wife, Tessera, on May 6th, 2012. They have three children; their daughter, Calliope, was born on September, 5th 2013, their first son, Judah, was born on July 14th, 2015, and their second son, Theodore, was born on February 8th, 2018. The Kauffman’s are thankful for God’s grace and providence that has been displayed to them and they look forward to growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ! Kenny and Tessie hope to have more children in the future as the Lord wills.
Kenny was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and moved to the South Bay in February of 2009. Kenny is a sports fan, namely football and basketball, but he enjoys most sports. He played football in middle school, High School, and in college at The University of Findlay. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, meeting people, traveling, reading, cooking, playing basketball, and drinking a good cup of coffee. Kenny is currently working on his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at The Master's Seminary with hopes to graduate in May of 2019. Kenny plans on continuing his education if and when he finishes his M.Div.
