Exalt the LORD Our God! (Psalm 99)

Main idea: Psalm 99 commands us to exalt the LORD our God and bow in worship before him because he is set apart and utterly unique in three powerful and praiseworthy ways.

1. He is set apart in how great He is! (vv.1-3)

2. He is set apart in how righteous He is! (vv. 4-5)

3. He is set apart in how close He is! (vv. 6-9)

   a. The God who hears (v.6)

   b. The God who speaks (v.7)

   c. The God who answers (v.8)

   d. The God who forgives (v.8)

   e. The God who punishes (v.8)
